Hypnosis & Brief Therapy Center, Kenneth Tetreault, MA

Ken Ducharme

About

I earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and received extensive postgraduate training in Hypnotherapy at the Milton H. Erickson, M.D. Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona, and in Brief Therapy at Stanford University.

Currently, I am on the faculty at Spokane Community College and have taught Hypnotherapy, Psychology, and English at several universities and colleges including Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, San Diego University in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Portland Community College.

As Clinical Director at three counseling agencies, for several years I did hypnosis and therapy with both English and Spanish speaking clients, and provided training and supervision to Masters and PhD students and interns from various universities.

I am the founder and director of Hypnosis & Brief Therapy Center and have a private practice in Hypnotherapy and Counseling in Portland and Beaverton, and first moved to Oregon in 1979.

I do not diagnose or treat classifications of mental disorders. Rather I view problems as arising as a consequence of daily living and the changes we encounter as we move through our family life cycle. These include courtship, marriage, childbirth and dealing with the young, weaning parents from children, middle marriage difficulties, retirement and old age.

Hypnotherapy is a comfortable, relaxing, and effective method to resolve difficulties and problems, and I invite you to call or text to begin achieving your goals.
