My journey as a healer began early, growing up as a biracial Asian American in the culturally rich environment of Hawaii. Surrounded by diverse traditions, I was deeply influenced by my father’s extensive library on acupuncture, Qi Gong, reflexology, and Shiatsu, soaking in this knowledge as though it were second nature. My family and friends were my first “patients,” and I found great joy in providing bodywork to those around me.

After spending nearly a decade as a social worker in Hawaii, Illinois, and California, working with children and families, I transitioned into Human Resources for another ten years. Eventually, I decided to pursue my passion for healing by formally studying Chinese medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in their Classical Chinese Medicine program. Midway through the program, I took a leave of absence after the passing of my father, stepping into the role of executor for his estate.

During a period of deep self-reflection, I felt called to reconnect with my Japanese heritage by becoming a Reiki practitioner. This path led me back to hands-on healing, which has always felt the most natural to me.  I began my Reiki training in 2023 and began treating patients in 2024 upon becoming Reiki Master.

Reiki is a holistic healing practice that supports the body’s natural ability to heal. It is effective and works harmoniously with all medical and therapeutic techniques.  I have successfully treated patients with Reiki in the following areas:

• Reduction in reactivity to triggers
• Stress reduction and improved sleep
• Assistance with life major life transitions
• Relief from depression and anxiety
• Activation of intuitive and spiritual gifts
• Restoring balance emotionally, mentally, and physically

As a Reiki practitioner, my intention is to be fully present, creating a safe and peaceful space for you to receive universal energy where it is most needed, fostering healing and overall well-being.
