Rasa Willis is a Portland licensed massage therapist who is healing the body through Therapeutic Bodywork and Massage. Rasa was born in Lithuania and first introduced to the healing power of massage when her son was born with a neck injury. The doctors in Europe recommended therapeutic massage. The massage treatment helped her son to avoid permanent damage and eliminated the need for future surgery.
Rasa earned a Bachelor Degree at Vilnius Pedagogical University in Teaching and Psychology. She came to the United States in 1999 and taught Preschool and still carries an emphasis on teaching into her approach to Therapeutic Bodywork and Massage.
Rasa’s interest in caring for and healing the body was rejuvenated while working with people active in sports and outdoor activities at a fitness equipment store in the Portland area. Her desire to continue to learn how to heal the body led her to attend Ashmead Everest College and receive her degree as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2006.
Rasa loves an active lifestyle, especially outdoors. She has competed in several triathlons, including one with her two sons. Her activities have given her first hand experience with how massage speeds the healing of injuries and getting back to full workouts more quickly.
