This class is taught by Dr. Andrew von Plitt, ND who holds an advanced level coaching certificate in Traditional Chinese Martial Arts which he earned while training in China. Dr. von Plitt started teaching Tai Chi in 2011 and has posted over 300 free Tai Chi and Qigong instruction videos on YouTube.

This slow-moving class begins with Yin, a series of deep stretches and prolonged holds. It then transitions into Restorative, where you’ll experience deep relaxation and nervous system calming through passive positions that promote physical and mental rest. The practice is specifically designed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to guide the body out of a “fight or flight” state.
