About Me

Hello! I’m Myra Reed, owner of Reed’s Clinical Massage, and I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). Please call or text 505-544-8278 with any questions you may have, or to schedule your next appointment.

Since 2011, I’ve helped clients to reduce discomfort, equalize tension patterns in muscles and fascia, optimize range of motion, and improve the quality of rest and relaxation in a fragrance-free environment.

Want me to wear a mask and/or gloves? Just ask!

About My Clients

I serve a widely diverse clientele, from Olympic-class athletes to advanced elders. I regularly serve clients who have recently undergone surgery, and those who have temporary and permanent physical limitations.

Many of my clients have multiple types of discomfort, range of motion, and strength issues due to illness, accidents, injuries, surgeries, congenital factors, and ergonomic issues.

What to expect at your appointment

Initial appointments are typically 90-120 minutes, and include:
–Intake form(s) & initial assessments
–Massage session
–Follow-up information sent via email, if needed

Additional appointments are 60-120 minutes, based upon client needs.

I am able to accommodate clients who remain in a wheelchair, depending on their needs. Please inform me if you plan to have a wheelchair-based session when you book your appointment.

I usually work on clothed clients who are positioned in seated or lying positions. Tank tops, short sleeve t-shirts, and shorts or loose workout pants are ideal.

Please remove as much jewelry as possible before coming to your session.

During your session, I may provide a combination of relaxation massage techniques and targeted spot work to address specific issues. I also provide self-care information– including tutorials, instructional handouts, video links, tools, and personal use products.

Sessions are focused on providing comfortable, safe, effective techniques that minimize post-session discomfort. I strive to work with what your body wants to do. I don’t “beat on” or “beat up” muscles, or do extreme stretching techniques.

I use a variety of items to maximize relief & relaxation, including:
— heat/cold, liniments
— Gua Sha and other tools
— massagers
— Orthopedic, NMT, stretching, reciprocal inhibition, and other bodywork and energetic
techniques.
