I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Art Therapist specializing in eating disorder treatment with more than 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and women. My expertise in eating disorders is complemented by my focus on helping individuals build self-confidence, develop social skills, and navigate life’s challenges. I graduated from Lesley University with a master’s in expressive therapies in 2009.
With a warm and collaborative approach, I create a safe space where clients can express themselves freely. I help my patients explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, and use art, especially when words are difficult to find.
My Approach
Every person is unique, and I tailor each treatment plan using a range of therapeutic techniques. I incorporate:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and reframe negative thought patterns, develop coping skills, and build emotional resilience.
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support trauma recovery by helping individuals process distressing experiences.
- Mindfulness Practices to encourage self-awareness, stress reduction, and emotional regulation.
- Family Therapy to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and foster deeper understanding within families.
- Art therapy provides a powerful outlet for self-expression. Through creative exploration, clients can process complex emotions and experiences. It’s particularly beneficial for those who may find it challenging to communicate their feelings verbally.

As an LPC with specialized training in eating disorders, I am passionate about supporting adolescents, young adults, and women struggling with these complex conditions. I have extensive experience working at the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) level of care, providing intensive support for those facing significant emotional and behavioral challenges. Through a compassionate and evidence-based approach, I help clients address distorted thoughts around food, body image, and self-worth. I collaborate closely with families, Primary Care Providers, and support systems to foster long-term recovery.
