Class limit: 10.  This is designed to be a small, hands-on intensive with direct supervision.  There will be a wait-list as needed.

Class Description:  Thai Massage is a form of bodywork that emphasizes gentle but profound passive stretches, muscle compressions, and opening Sen energy lines for health, mobility, lymph drainage and circulation. Clients often report feeling lighter in their step, taller, more coordinated and a much deeper connection to their body.  Practitioners report finding more creative possibilities in their approach to bodywork, less stress on their bodies and enjoyment in a totally different style of work.

Thai massage can be done as a modality entirely by itself or it can adapted or incorporated into any other work done on a table.  A Traditional Thai massage has enough material to cover a single 4-6 hour session in one sitting.  This class will cover enough material for a thorough one-hour session that addresses both the upper and lower body halves.

What to bring: Either a floor mat or a massage table that can have its cables removed, pillows and sheets for your mat.  This is a fully-clothed form of bodywork so dress in warm, comfortable, and stretchy clothing.  Notes with the material covered will be handed out in paper or digital format.

Instructor:  David Darter-Saunders, DC, License # OR-5532.
