Welcome! I am Elaine Kovacs, LCSW with Lifting Clouds Therapy. I am glad you’re here, and I hope to connect with you further about what you hope to process and address in therapy. I have been providing therapy and clinical social work services for over 12 years, in a variety of hospital, in-home, and outpatient clinic settings. I have both personal and professional experience as a caregiver, and have training around issues of grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and difficult life transitions.
I am licensed to practice in the State of Oregon, and I am able to offer both in-person and telehealth therapy services at this time.
I obtained my Masters of Science in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin in 2013, and have since worked in Austin, TX, Atlanta, GA, and now Portland, OR Metro.
The therapeutic modalities that I most often utilize include:

Individual counseling intake appointment (60 mins): $150, and individual counseling sessions thereafter (60 min): 140, at my standard rates. Sliding scale available as low as $100 per session. In-network provider with:
Out of network provider with Medicare Advantage plans (sessions available for reduced out of pocket rate), as well as all other commercial health plans if out of network benefits available. |
